DAVID LABEIJ (MFD Amsterdam)
David Labeij (MFD & Polder) is one of the most exciting talents to have come out of Amsterdam. As a promising DJ back in the late 90’s, David Labeij exploded onto the scene with a fresh take on dutch techno and house music, being one of the first to bring minimal and dub-techno in the Netherlands.
His career accelerated when he became studio partners with Lauhaus and got signed on Shinedoe’s Intacto as Polder, releasing numerous classic ep’s and their Poldermodel album in 2008.
With more than 10 years on the scene, international tours including live gigs at Awakenings, Lowlands, Fabric (London), Panorama Bar (Berlin), Fabrik (Madrid), Privilege and Space (Ibiza) and releases on his own label MFD Records, Mobilee, Sushitech, Safari, Suara, Remote Area, Amam and Intacto; no-one can dispute that Labeij is here to stay.
